As the warming of the fire drones,
We’ll have a singalong
For all us lucky ones
Who have escaped the bombs.
We’ll sing ourselves to back before
Social mediated cyber wars
When capital had set the world alight
And killed our winter in the fight.
Radiation rains
From the sky
Mutilation, mutation,
Will we even survive?
We lost a harvest to the sun,
River’s low for the salmon run.
Eventually a day will come
Quake, wave, oblivion.
Climb up the mountainside
Guided by an ethanol light
Listen for a landslide
Calling us to the otherside
Radiation rains
From the sky
Mutilation, mutation,
Will we even survive?
Radiation rains
From the sky
Mutilation, mutation,
Will we even survive?
I'm a little biased, but I think this is a fantastic album. Caton had Colby Sparks and me play on a few of these songs, but for the most part, it's all him. Great record, can't wait for the follow up! Nothingness
I don't know Paul that well, but I'm struck by his music. He manages to pull something really gripping out of some familiar tools, and the result is pretty flooring. Nothingness
Ora's one of the best. I think her music just speaks for itself. She can take a traditional song and so thoroughly own it so much you'd swear she wrote it and her originals are easily just as strong. Nothingness
This imaginative release from Monty Cime blends Latin folk music and experimental noise for a sense of surreal nostalgia. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 30, 2023
Kansas City trio Flooding draw out the more mystical qualities of slowcore and noise rock for a heavy sound that's less stony than doom. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 26, 2023
